Rickland, LLC ("Rickland," "we," "us") provides direct mail, printing and fulfillment services from 10520 Northlake Park Drive, Ashland, Virginia 23005. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through www.ricklanddirect.com (the "Site") and how you can contact us about it.
Our file transfer site (ricklandtransfer.com) and job tracking platform are provided for business clients under their agreements with us and are not covered by this policy.
When a business or organization hires us to print and mail, it gives us a mailing list. We process that information only on the client's instructions, keep it secure, and delete it on the schedule our contracts require. We do not use client mailing lists for our own marketing and we do not sell them. If you want to stop receiving mail from an organization, please contact that organization directly. If you contact us instead, we will tell you which client the mailing was for where our contract allows, or pass your request to them.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business (website hosting with HostGator, contact form delivery through Mobirise, and Google services), with professional advisers, or when the law requires. These providers may use it only to provide their services to us.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking cookies may affect the contact form's spam protection.
Contact form messages and related emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and manage our business relationship, generally no longer than 3 years unless they become part of a client or financial record that we must keep longer.
We protect information with administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, access controls and staff training. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. See our Security page for more.
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Virginia residents and residents of other states with privacy laws may have these rights under state law, and we honor these requests for everyone.
We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity, usually by confirming details you already gave us. You may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response with the word "Appeal". We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
